Select "MoMo Pay" from the drop down menu.
Next, you will need to key in the amount you wish to pay. If you want the business to
receive an exact amount in local currency, key in received amount. The USD equivalent will
be updated in real time.
You can also enter the amount in USD and the corresponding local curreny amount will be
displayed in the "Received Amount" field.
Next, you will need to key in the 6-digit MoMoPay Code you wish to pay to. Enter this in the "Till/Account Number" field. Double check the number to avoid inconviniences.
You can pay to any active MTN MoMoPay Code.
Enter the phone number of the business/business representative, or your own phone number. A
confirmation SMS notification will be sent to this number.
Important: To make sure that your notification goes through, use the following format when entering the phone number: 0xxxxxxxxx
You can pay with your VISA, Mastercard, or American Express debit or credit card from any
country.
To pay with your debit/credit card, click the "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" button. The
payment gateway will load a pop up window for you to securely key in your card details to
complete the payment. Be sure to double check your details (name, address and postal code)
to match your bank details. Also check to confirm the payment details. Then click "Pay now".
Once your payment is complete, a success page is displayed with your transaction reference number. We’ll send a confirmation message to the provided recipient phone number as soon as your transaction is complete.
The money will be sent from one of our authorized HeptaPay agent lines.
