Top up Airtime

1. Select Service

HeptaPay supports airtime top up across major networks. To top up airtime, select either MTN Airtime or Airtel Airtime depending on the recipient network.  

2. Key in the Amount

Next, you will need to key in the amount you wish to purchase. If you want the recipient to receive an exact amount in local currency, key in received amount. The USD equivalent will be updated in real time.

You can also enter the amount in USD and the corresponding local curreny amount will be displayed in the "Received Amount" field.

3. Enter the Recipient Phone

Enter the phone number you wish to top up airtime for. You can top up airtime for yourself or any other person.

Important: To make sure that your transaction goes through, use the following format when entering the phone number: 

• MTN: 078xxxxxxx/079xxxxxxx
• Airtel: 072xxxxxxx/073xxxxxxx

4. Pay

You can pay with your VISA, Mastercard, or American Express debit or credit card from any country.

To pay with your debit/credit card, click the "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" button. The payment gateway will load a pop up window for you to securely key in your card details to complete the payment. Be sure to double check your details (name, address and postal code) to match your bank details. Also check to confirm the payment details. Then click "Pay now".

5. You're all done – wait for confirmation

Once your payment is complete, a success page is displayed with your transaction reference number. We'll send a message to the provided recipient phone number as soon as your transaction is complete. Additionally, the recipient will receive another confirmation message from the telco.
