Pay Water Bill

1. Select Service

Select "Water (WASAC) Bill" from the drop down menu  

2. Key in the Amount

Next, you will need to key in the amount you wish to purchase. If you want the recipient to receive an exact amount in local currency, key in received amount. The USD equivalent will be updated in real time.

You can as well enter the amount in USD and the corresponding amount to be received in local currency will be displayed on "Received Amount" field.

3. Enter the Meter Number

Next, you will need to key in the meter number you wish to pay water for. Enter this in the "Account Number" field. Double check the meter number to avoid inconviniences. Note the meter number must be in number format.

4. Enter the Recipient Phone

Enter the phone number of the person you wish to pay water for. You can pay water for yourself or for any other person.

Important: To make sure that your transaction goes through, use the following format when entering the phone number: 
  • MTN: 078xxxxxxx/079xxxxxxx
  • Airtel: 072xxxxxxx/073xxxxxxx

5. Pay

HeptaPay uses Mastercard's Payment Gateway to process payments. You can pay with your VISA/Mastercard/AMEX debit or credit card.

To pay with your debit/credit card, click the "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" button. The payment gateway will load a pop up window for you to securely key in your card details to complete the payment. Be sure to double check your details (name, address and postal code) to match your bank details. Also check to confirm the payment details. Then click "Pay now".

6. You’re all done — wait for confirmation

Once your payment is complete, a success page is displayed with your transaction reference number. We’ll send a confirmation message to the provided recipient phone number as soon as your transaction is complete.
